TouchWood Play is a specialist design and build natural playground company with over 21 years' experience creating innovative, highly engineered playgrounds and adventure play areas.

 

Using traditional woodcraft techniques and sustainable, locally sourced natural materials, TouchWood’s mission is to create amazing, unique play experiences where children of all ages – and their imaginations – can run wild. It's about feeling free, learning through play, and creating a safe but challenging place.

Founded in 2002 by Joe Cooper, TouchWood has since worked with many high-profile clients including the Eden Project, the National Trust, the Forestry Commission, Bluestone Park, Hobbledown Heath, The Wave and William's Den, along with hundreds of school and parks, to create unique and high-quality play spaces that thrill and delight adults as well as children.

 

Joe says: "Play is so important. I'm a firm believer in the importance of creating natural, inclusive playgrounds where modern children can experience the wonder of the natural world while having exciting, playful adventures. But I'm also passionate about creating beautiful environments that complement their surroundings and that parents, grandparents and carers want to spend time in too."
