From a simple charcoal pencil workshop to producing your own BBQ charcoal, we can tailor a charcoal workshop to suit your needs.  These workshops can be included in a residential or day retreat at Fernhill Farm, check them out at www.fernhill-farm.co.uk.

The Charcoal Production course is our flagship charcoal experience, not only will you learn all about charcoal (see course contents), but there will be a proper hot smoking BBQ at the end of the day!  This course runs at various venues and times around the west country, see courses for dates.  If you want to hire us to run this at your venue, please contact us.  This course can be run on a one to one basis or a maximum of 6 participants.  

We can come to you! The Chew Valley Charcoal road show uses specially constructed scale model kilns, that enable the charcoal production process to be demonstrated in as little as 4 hours.  An experienced woodcollier will be on hand to explain the process.  Add a little  woodland magic to your event, show, open day, etc.  (Warning: contains smoke!)
