Established by Andy Pope in September 2000, Arcadian furniture manufactures freestanding and fitted furniture to commission and provides a comprehensive furniture restoration service. Andy also turns and hand-carves a unique range of bowls.

Andy trained at City of Bristol College in 1995 and then worked for several Bristol based furniture manufacturers/restorers, building skills, knowledge and experience.

In addition to commissions, Andy produces high quality pieces of his own combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, techniques and machinery. He chooses to work in native hardwoods, where figure in the grain works well in juxtaposition with the clean lines of his designs.

Past commissions have included: tables, chairs cupboards, bookshelves, wardrobes, study areas, display cases, and bathroom furniture, whilst the restoration projects cover everything from re-glueing joints and repairing damaged veneers, to French polishing, replacing desk leather and insurance work.
