Woodcarvers work at Bristol Museum

Following on the success of his Metainsecta exhibition in August, Alistair Park has been asked to display his intricately carved insects at the Bristol Museum.

The pieces are on display in the Natural History section (next to the Gypsy Caravan). The quality of Alistair's carvings and since the creatures are imagined rather than exact replicas of real insects, it is a rare honour and a measure of their quality that Alistair has been asked to lend them to the museum.

The work, along with the work of some of the other artists featured in the Metainsecta show, will be at the museum until February.

Entrance to the museum is free.
