Woodland Skills
Traditional woodland skills - coppicing, charcoal-making, woodland management, foraging and much more.
Some of these skills have existed in this country for centuries and, although some of the tools may have been updated, the skills are largely unchanged and are still very much relevant today.
One of the key features of these skills is working with the woodland environment - appreciating it and encouraging and deriving benefit from it while ensuring its long-term survival.
Learning these skills, and practising them, is not just good for the woodland - it will make you feel good too - menatlly, physically and spiritually
